FASD does not always have physical symptoms
If you drank alcohol during your pregnancy, don’t always expect your child to be unaffected if he/she looks “normal”. Physical impairments are not always evident in FASD. Most parents don’t notice their child has any disabilities until later development when cognition, learning, and behavior are affected.
