Debates still continue on whether it is OK to drink during pregnancy…

Before you read the following article, please keep in mind that we encourage NO alcohol use during pregnancy or if a woman is possibly pregnant for the simple reason that there is no known safe amount to consume. Even small amounts of alcohol can still be considered dangerous. A woman may not be able to reliably control how much she consumes and when to be safe for her baby. And with many debates that research possible safe times or amounts of alcohol, quite simply alcohol is proven to cause birth defects and disabilities in children of varying degrees called Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. We wonder why take the risk at all? 9 months is not a long time to abstain for the future of your baby. Read the following for one mother’s opinion on alcohol and pregnancy.
